BUP – Cornering Fatigue Test Machine
The cornering fatigue test is defined as a type of audit for the certifi cation approval and ongoing monitoring of
vehicle wheels. The test parameters will be defi ned from the actual statutory provision and from the wheel load of the test wheel. Extended test routines and special requests from car manufacturer, wheel manufacturer and testing authorities (i.e. TÜV) will be covered in the standard software.
The test serves to continuous quality control of materials and processing. Alloy wheels are one of the safety-related parts for automobiles and must therefore be subjected to regular inspections at the production process.
